Ghanaian duo Michael Baidoo and Jalal Abdulai were on the scoresheet for IF Elfsborg as they defeated Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol in the UEFA Europa League qualifications.

Youngster Jalal Abdullai gave the hosts an early lead after just two minutes into the game, assisted by defender Niklas Hult at the Boras Arena.

Foormer Vision FC midfielder Michael Baidoo added the second for Elfsborg in the 73rd minute as they claimed a convincing 2-0 victory over Sheriff to progress to the next stage in the qualifiers on Thursday.

Compatriot Terry Yegbe also played full throttle for Elfsborg helping them to advance on 3-0 aggregate scoreline.
