Ghanaian international Baba Abdul Rahman scored late to rescue Paok Thessaloniki at the Eleda Stadio in their 2-2 draw with Malmo FF in the ongoing UEFA Champions League qualification round of matches.

Pontus Jansson gave the home side the lead in the 28th minute assisted by Sebastian Nanasi.

The visitors drew level with two minutes into the break through Taison.

Back from recess, Malmo went ahead again in the 68th minute when Sebastian Nanasi sent a long right footed shot into the net.

It looked like a done deal for the host until the former Chelsea defender equalized with a powerful left-footed strike in the 76th minute assisted by Konstantinos Koulierakis to salvage a point for the Greek champions.

Paok will welcome Malmo FF at the Toumba Stadium on August 13, 2024 for the return leg of the ongoing UEFA Champions League qualifiers.
