Captain of the Black Stars, Andre Ayew has been dropped from Ghana's final squad for their upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Mali and Central African Republic.

 

 

Announcing the squad on Wednesday morning at a press conference in Accra, coach Otto Addo snubbed the Le Havre forward despite his impressive run in his return to the French Ligue 1.

The former U20 FIFA World Cup winner scored 6goals in 20 appearances for Le Havre in the French Ligue 1 and the French cup.

Arsenal star Thomas Partey makes a return to the team after a long lay off due to injury. 
Nordsjaelland youngster Ibrahim Osman was included as well Cagliari Calcio midfielder, Ibrahim Sulemana .

The Black Stars will take on Mali on Thursday, June 6 2024 before visiting Central African Republic on Monday June 10, 2024.
Ghana will open camp on Thursday, May 30, 2024 in readiness for the two games.
