GFA and betPawa enhance Partnership; Locker Room Bonus extended to Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) wishes to announce an enhanced partnership with betPawa, extending the innovative Locker Room Bonus initiative to the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League for the 2025/26 season.
The Locker Room Bonus, a signature feature of the betPawa Ghana Premier League, rewards players directly for winning matches, providing an immediate financial boost and motivation for outstanding performances.
Top officials from the GFA, betPawa, clubs, stakeholders, and the media attended the ceremony on Friday.
General Secretary, Prosper Harisson Addo, described the move as a landmark motivation for the Women’s League.
"This is a clear statement that women’s football is a priority, and we are committed to investing in its growth," Prosper Harrison Addo said.
betPawa’s head of local Marketing & CSR, Borah Ndanyungu, expressed delight in widening the scope of the initiative, noting that the brand is passionate about driving excitement and professionalism across Ghana’s football ecosystem.
