Ghana winger Ibrahim Osman has joined Dutch giants Feyenoord on loan from English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion.

The 19-year-old, who joined the Seagulls in the summer transfer window from FC Nordsjaelland, will spend the 2024/25 season in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Osman believes the move to the Dutch league will help his development as he aims to return to England an improved player.

"At Feyenoord, young players get the chance to develop," he said. "For my development, it is good to play here and improve aspects of my game. And I want to use my qualities to help the team achieve great things in the Eredivisie and in Europe," he added.

Just like Kaaru Mitoma and Simon Adingra started their Brighton careers with loan moves, Osman is expected to gain regular play time and help the Dutch outfit compete for titles.

Osman, also a graduate of the Right to Dream Academy, participated in full pre-season with Brighton, travelling with the team for their Japan tour.
