The 2025 Greater Accra Hockey Knockout Tournament came to an end on Saturday, November 29, at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Pitch, with GRA Ladies, Exchequers, Einstein, and Golden Sticks crowned champions across their respective divisions.
The three week competition featured action-packed encounters in the Masters, Women, Men, and Youth categories, showcasing the very best of hockey talent in the region.
In the Women’s final, the indomitable Royal Ladies of the Ghana Revenue Authority reaffirmed their domestic dominance with a 2–1 victory over Reformers. Vivian and Mavis found the back of the net for GRA, while Rosemond scored a consolation for Reformers. With this win, GRA Ladies have completed a clean sweep of all domestic trophies—T Tommy, Afehye, the Salpholda League, and now the Knockout solidifying their status as the undisputed queens of Ghana hockey.
The Youth Division witnessed a commanding performance from Einstein, who outplayed Tema Manhean with a convincing 3–1 victory.
In the Masters Division, Golden Sticks stunned league sponsors Salpholda, delivering a confident 3–1 win. Conrad Quarcoo, Ishmael Tetteh, and Alex Amanquanor all registered their names on the scoresheet, while Asiedu George pulled one back for Salpholda.
The Men’s Division final saw a heated clash between the Exchequers of the Bank of Ghana and GRA Men. Exchequers, the reigning league champions, asserted their superiority once again with a 2–0 win, courtesy of goals from Elorm Akaba and Emmanuel Quansah.
All champions were presented with giant trophies to mark their outstanding performances.
